What do good food and good company have in common? The ability to bring communities together! That is the premise behind Dishcrawl, a National organization working in well-known “foodie” areas to bring people together via local restaurants.
The “Five Points Feast” Durham Dishcrawl debut is taking place July 9th and 10th and offers an exciting new addition to what the Triangle area has to offer in the world of food. Already we are blessed with food tour companies such as Taste Carolina and events like Triangle Restaurant Week, I have no doubt Dishcrawl Durham will be a welcome addition. Also check out Dishcrawl Raleigh to get the best of both cities.
As a Dishcrawl Durham participant you get the opportunity to sample dishes from 4 of downtown’s top restaurants and learn for yourselves why Durham was named the “South’s Tastiest Town” by Southern Living. The fun part is they don’t let you know which restaurants you’ll be visiting until 2 days beforehand. A tasty little surprise =)
Tickets are $45 and include the food. “Drink specials and pairings may be available at discretion of the participating restaurant” according to their website.
