This Sunday marks the 4th Annual Pittsboro Pepper Festival and if you are a local foodie, beer or wine lover, this is for you!
The event takes place Sunday October 2nd from 4-7pm at Briar Chapel community park. Tickets are $20 in advance and $30 the day of. Fee includes access to all food and entertainment. There will be a cash bar set up for beer and wine.

With an opportunity to use over 60 heirloom varieties of peppers, 25 chefs will showcase their creativity by serving you some of their best dishes. Look for Chef Chad from Market Restaurant with Creme Fraiche Cheese Cake with Chocolate Mole’ Graham Cracker Crust and Tobago Infused Honey Caramel, Chef Jay Pierce from Lucky 32 with Butterbean pate with pickled peppers & local lengua with Pittsboro pepper chow chow, Chef Colin from The Granary at Fearrington with Pork brisket with assorted pepper condiments and Chef Jimmy from Carolina Crossroads with Spicy pepper gazpacho with cucumber yogurt , to name a few.
Wash it all down with Triangle Brewery’s habanero pepper pale ale (Yes Please!), Fullsteam Brewery, Carolina Brewery, Benjamin Winery, Starlight Mead and more.

There will be plenty of entertainment. Fantastic music from Justin Robinson and the Mary Annettes + Lonnie Walker, Kids activities including face painting by Stacye Leanza, scavenger hunt, jugglers, hoopers, big bubbles + more!
