Get Your Eat On!!!

Durham Spirits Co. GRAND OPENING!!

The Durham Spirits Co. will officially open to the public on Saturday June 25th from 11am-2pm. The Grand Opening will offer food featuring local ingredients, kids cookie decorating, and an opportunity to tour the house, which by the way is absolutely beautiful!

Chef and Owner Katie Coleman comes from a diverse culinary background. She graduated with an Associates in Culinary Arts from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York, spent 10 years cooking all over the world including Italy and France and most recently a Culinary Instructor for the Art Institute of Raleigh-Durham.

She even had the chance to cook with Anthony Bourdain….Twice!

“Our goal is to enrich and liven our community by bringing together  new and old friends to eat and drink the best of what our area has to  offer,” says Katie.

The Durham Spirits Co. offers individual or group cooking and mixology classes where students learn to prepare and pair food and drinks to dazzle friends and family. You can sign up for classes from the website. They offer Corporate team building classes, private parties and custom cooking classes. To sum it up, there’s something for everyone.

As Katie puts it, “We want to build the community, starting at the kitchen table. Classes are meant to be much like a dinner party. You get to meet new people, learn how to cook, and eat well.”

Join Katie this Saturday and celebrate the opening of the Durham Spirits Co.
