The Art of Beer at Raleigh Beer Festival

It’s only four days until The World Beer Festival Raleigh and this beer guzzling goddess (insert guffaw)  is ready. I’ve been to the Durham event several years in a row,  but this will be my first experience checking out the Raleigh Beer Fest scene.

According to @allaboutbeer‘s most recent tweets, 100 more tickets have become available for each session due to last-minute brewer entries. Get yours here.

When tweeting about the World Beer Festival Raleigh, the hash tag is #WBFRaleigh

This year All About Beer is debuting their new Festival theme, The Art of Beer. According to the All About Beer website, “We want to take Festival attendees farther down the path to beer appreciation, and explore the use of certain ingredients and brewing methods, selecting beers and the use serving methods to enhance a culinary experience, and the history behind the beer styles.”

Attendees can enjoy several beer talks, and the new Whole Foods Market on Six Forks Rd has donated food and will be demonstrating beer and food pairing possibilities.

The “Art of Beer,”  by Raleigh Graphic Artist Wesley Hare, won the poster contest and the image will be used on much of the marketing materials for the Festival. I think his poster is friggin’ awesome!

So folks, get your tickets and come try a new brew and meet your favorite brewer. And don’t forget, the festival benefits Artsplosure for their contribution to the City of Raleigh.
